A Pause for reflection

Today, at 09:50 GMT my mother finally passed away.

She has been declining into severe Dementia over the last 10 years. I managed to care for her at home for 7 of these, but the last 3 were in a local nursing home who did an excellent job looking after her.

I was there when she died, as a former nurse, I have seen death before, and she died relatively peacefully. For this I am thankful.

Wargaming will have to take a back seat for a bit as I sort out things that must be sorted.

Normal service, I am certain, will return as soon as possible.

Richard.

  1. Sorry to heard of your lost. My wife mother pasted with the same disease. It is heart breaking to watch a active loving person to slow fade away.
